Tuition: $150

Materials: $20

Sept. 15th, 10am-5pm

Class Description:

This informative one day Finishing 101 class teaches you how to choose transparent finishes for wood and includes  hands on learning using rags, pads, brushes and HVLP spraying equipment.

When choosing a finish for your project, your first considerations should be what kind of protection your project really needs, and what do you want it to look like. Oils, shellac, lacquer, varnish, urethane, water base are your choices. How do you choose one over the other? Where you are going to do your finishing is also something to consider. Last but not least is choosing the method of applying your choice of finish, rags, pad, brush or spray.
