This class is designed for those who are ready to build their first piece of furniture or who desire to improve their furniture making skills. A strong emphasis will be on proper milling of materials with jointers, planers & table saw work. Once materials are milled, student evolve to the use of hand held power tools and dust extractors. A natural follow-up on the Fundamentals class, this class will teach you a variety of basic furniture joinery techniques through the construction of a solid hardwood side table. Choose from Oak, Cherry or Walnut. Continue your skill building with our new Furniture Making 201. Offered Wednesdays evenings throughout 2018.
