INSTRUCTOR: Maverick Jaillet
Maverick Jaillet has been with King Arthur’s Tools for three years, serving as Camelot’s Woodworking Studio Power carving instructor and Sales Representative. He has conducted classes in Alaska, Florida, and California. He worked as a purchasing agent, specializing in power tools and accessories, for 20 years. He has extensive experience in all phases of construction and is an accomplished carver, power carving instructor and demonstrator.
CLASS DESCRIPTION: Learn basic wooden spoon and other kitchen utensil making techniques. Basic shop safety, wood selection, carving techniques, as well as sanding and finishing will be covered. Students will take home functional kitchen utensils that they created themselves, and the skills to create more! All wood and tools will be provided. Personal safety gear (earplugs, dust masks, faceshields, gloves) will be available.
