For ages 8-11 years old.
This 3-week course is a continuation of the Kid’s Shop 1 and 2 classes. Your child must have taken Kid’s Shop 1 A in order to sign up for this class.
This class introduces the friendliest power tool in the shop to young woodworkers. They will learn proper cutting techniques, safety protocols and start to practice a new skill. They will make saw dust as they practice and make the following projects:
Projects:
1. Bookends
2. Picture frame holder
3. Climbing bear
Class size is limited to 4 students with one instructor. Parents are expected to stay with their child throughout the class and assist in supervision as their child needs.

Parents, please plan on remaining present for the duration of each class to help supervise as needed (and who knows, you might learn something too!).
Also, please keep in mind that if your child has to miss a day of class for any reason, you will not be able to reschedule. If you would like to schedule a make-up class (for an additional fee) or if your child’s schedule doesn’t work with our class schedule, we offer 1-on-1 instruction which we can tailor to your availability.
