Kid's Shop 3: Introduction to the Scroll Saw

For ages 8-11 years old.

This 3-week course is a continuation of the Kid’s Shop 1 and 2 classes. Your child must have taken Kid’s Shop 1 A in order to sign up for this class.
This class introduces the friendliest power tool in the shop to young woodworkers. They will learn proper cutting techniques, safety protocols and start to practice a new skill. They will make saw dust as they practice and make the following projects:
Projects:
1. Bookends
2. Picture frame holder
3. Climbing bear

Class size is limited to 4 students with one instructor. Parents are expected to stay with their child throughout the class and assist in supervision as their child needs.

Parents, please plan on remaining present for the duration of each class to help supervise as needed (and who knows, you might learn something too!).
