class policies
Please note, our reschedule / cancellation policy has changed
We will offer a full refund or reschedule only if you notify us of your cancellation five days prior to the start of your class. No refunds will be permitted, for any reason, under five days prior to the start of class.
Our classes are designed for a group setting to encourage interactions and shared learning, so if only one person registers, the class will be cancelled. In the event this happens you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule for a future class.
Age Requirement
Aside from our kids and teen classes and Scroll Saw 101 class, all classes are for adults aged 16 or older.
Kids Workshops require that one parent/guardian be in attendance with their child.
Anyone under the age of 18 is required to have a parent/guardian complete a Liability Waiver prior to the start of class
Safety & Dress Code
Safety is critically important in any wood shop and students should be dressed properly to avoid potential injury.
Please wear closed-toe shoes, tie long hair back and don't wear loose clothing or dangling necklaces or bracelets.
Tardiness
If you arrive more than 20 minutes late to class, you will not be admitted and we reserve the right to deny a refund and/or rescheduling.
Inclement Weather
Weather cancellations will mirror Montgomery County Goverment closures. Cancellations will be announced by 3pm on the day of the class.
