This class is designed for teens, ages 12 – 16 years, and is an intensive 3- day introductory class to the fundamentals of woodworking. Students will have a chance to learn about different types of joints using both hand and power tools, including the table saw, miter saw, bandsaw, router table, joiner and planer, as they make their own take-home project. The course also covers subjects such as wood technology, selecting and purchasing lumber, sharpening techniques and finishing.
All tools and materials provided. Paper and Pencil recommended for note taking. Please wear closed toed shoes.
