Whether working in a fully equipped shop or just beginning your first project in your driveway, properly milled boards are essential. This is a skills class to teach you how to mill wood for your special project. We will cover the standard milling process to achieve S4S ( Surfaced on 4 Sides) lumber that will be ready for use. This class will provide hands-on experience with the jointer, planer and table saw. We will also cover alternative techniques which don’t require the jointer. There is no final project built in this class, but you will leave with a perfectly milled board.
