We are thrilled to offer a 3-day summer program for teens, ages 12 – 16 years old. Our safe, fun and educational projects will be perfect to help teens expand their understanding of hands-on woodworking and to develop confidence with basic woodworking tools. Teens will be working with a joiner/planer to mill wood; table saw, miter saw, band saw to cut wood and a drill press and power sanders. The classes are run by our team of expert youth educators who understand safe woodworking techniques just as much as how to work with and support beginning woodworkers. Your teen will make great projects that they can enjoy using at home for years to come. Monday’s woodworking project is a table-top corn hole game. Tuesday’s project is a cell phone amplifier/speaker and Wednesday’s project is a bandsaw box. Each Teen Workshop is 6-hours from 10 am – 4 pm. Teens should bring a bag lunch for a lunch break. Drinks will be provided. Teens can register for 1 , 2 or 3 sessions, with a $75 savings if you register for all 3 days.
