For ages 11-15 years old.
This is a 4-week course that builds on what students learned in Beginning Woodworking for Teens 1. Class will meet every Tuesday from 5:30pm-7:30pm, May 3 – 31 ( except May 24).
Students will continue to learn tool use (hand tools and power tools), construction techniques and finishing applications. Class participants will use the drill press, bandsaw, Festool track saw, disk sander and much more!
Students will make several projects:
1. Tic Tac Toe Shelf
2. Round Table
3. Docking Station
4. Lantern
Expectations of Enrollment:
Please plan on remaining present for the duration of each class; we would like at least one parent present per class to help supervise (and who knows, you might learn something too!).
Also, please keep in mind that if your child has to miss a day of class for any reason, you will not be able to reschedule. If you would like to schedule a make-up class (for an additional fee) or if your child’s schedule doesn’t work with our class schedule, we offer 1-on-1 instruction which we can tailor to your availability.
