After intro to the lathe you can learn more about end-grain hollowing. Students will start with a refresher while making the outside of an egg cup. They will then hollow out the cup using a spindle gouge and a Ray Key gouge. On day 2, one will learn to make a box using spindle and scrapers and using jam fits to shape and finish the box.
Prerequisite : Introduction to the Lathe
